The document can be sent to us via WhatsApp or e-mail in any text extension (.docx, .pdf, etc.), as well as in the electronic signature format (.e-doc, .asice).
If you send us scans/pictures of a document (.jpg, etc.), please, first make sure that the document is fully visible, not overexposed, photographed in sufficient resolution, and is photographed from the correct angle (strictly from above).

Before starting our work, we agree on a deadline. We translate standard documents (that are one or two pages long) the next day. If necessary, we also accept urgent orders.

Yes, it is possible: we keep the original style and formatting in the translation. If a document is required for printing, please inform us about it before we start executing the order, and we will involve our layout designers so that the translated material (instruction, booklet, brochure) could be printed out correctly.

The cost of translation depends on the volume of the text (on the word count, to be precise) as well as on the language combination, urgency and some other factors. To find out the exact price, please send us a document for translation, and we will respond with a pricing proposal.
For our corporate clients, we offer to conclude a long-term cooperation agreement which provides more preferential terms of payment.

Invoices we send to our corporate clients are without VAT, as for the individuals – VAT is already included in the price of the service.

We only accept cash at the bureau, but we also send invoices by e-mail, which you can pay by a regular bank transfer. Please note that we do not accept credit card payments yet. We usually work on a prepayment basis, which means that we start the translation only after receiving the full cost of the order. However, a more flexible pricing policy is available to our regular customers. In any special case, do not hesitate to contact us: we are always open for negotiation!

Our translations can be conventionally divided into four categories:
1. Basic translation: You receive a “standard” translation on a piece of paper that is not attached to the submitted document; or we send you this translation by mail in MsWord format. Service may be used to translate the chapters of the book you need for a lecture, or correspondence by e-mail, or a letter of recommendation.
2. Translation certified by our agency: the submitted document is stitched together with the translation, and the agency’s seal and the translator’s signature are affixed to the last sheet: such a translation is accepted by some of the authorities: you can also use it for the court. Also suitable for some schools and hospitals, other host institutions.
With this type of translation, several documents (e.g. a diploma, a transcript of records, and a certificate of honor from the school principal) can be sewn into one – and certified with one certification.
This document cannot be apostilled.
3. Notarised translation: stitched together with the original (or its notary copy) and affixed with a notary seal. Accepted in all institutions in Latvia, and can also be apostilled. In this case, each translated document can only be certified separately.
4. Any other “non-standard” translation: a book that needs to be translated and stitched; presentation that needs to be finalised and formatted – all other orders that require an individual approach can be processed by personal agreement.

Localization / adaptation is the subsequent processing of the translation (or the original text), taking into account socio-cultural aspects, audience, territory, as well as the qualities of the product itself.
Often text localization / adaptation is used for marketing materials, home pages, service or product descriptions. As a result of such processing, the text becomes more attractive to the audience and has better selling potential.

Only those related to document translation and legalization: we can notarise a copy of the document and the correctness of the translation, as well as legalise the document and put an apostille on it.
However, in order to get an extract from your passport or to draw up and sign a power of attorney, you still need a notary: however, we can certainly recommend those notary offices that are closest to our bureau.

These procedures are similar, but they are performed for different types of documents, and therefore may take different time: the apostille can be done in one to three days, while legalization can take several weeks.
To find out which procedure applies to your document, please scan it and send it via e-mail in advance, we then can immediately notify you of the deadlines.

Yes, we can get almost any document in your name. In order to do this, we need a notarised power of attorney from you to be created for an employee of our bureau. In order to draw up a power of attorney correctly , write to us, and we will send you a draft, as well as describe in detail the procedure for performing the service in detail.

We work every weekday from 9:00 to 18:30, without a break.
You do not need to make a reservation in advance: we accept documents both at the office and remotely. You can send the document by e-mail or by regular mail.
